Monel Alloy R-405

Aleación Monel R-405  (UNS N04405) es el grado de libre mecanizado de la aleación 400. Su contenido de azufre mayor mejora la maquinabilidad. Se tiene esencialmente la misma resistencia a la corrosión y las propiedades físicas como la aleación 400, pero un intervalo ligeramente diferente de las propiedades mecánicas. Aleación R-405 se utiliza principalmente para la automática de stock de la máquina del tornillo y no se recomienda para otras aplicaciones
