Monel Alloy 400

Aleación de Monel es una aleación de níquel y cobre (UNS N04400, 2.4360 y 2.4361 W.Nr.) es una aleación de solución sólida que puede ser endurecida sólo por trabajo en frío. Tiene una alta resistencia y tenacidad sobre una amplia gama de temperaturas y una excelente resistencia a muchos corrosivo ambientes.

Aleación 400 se utiliza ampliamente en muchos campos, especialmente especies marinas y procesamiento químico. Las aplicaciones típicas son las válvulas y bombas, la bomba y los ejes de hélices, accesorios marinos y elementos de fijación, componentes eléctricos y electrónicos; muelles, equipos de procesamiento de productos químicos, gasolina y tanques de agua dulce; imágenes fijas de petróleo crudo, tanques de proceso y las tuberías de alimentación de calderas, calentadores de agua y otras fuentes de calor intercambiadores, y calentadores de desgasificación.
